Shipping Policy

1. GENERAL

1.1 Mont Blanc Ventures Private Limited, having its registered address at 249 G, Phase IV, Udyog Vihar, Sector 18, Gurugram, Haryana 122015, India (“Montblanc” “we”, “us” or “our”), is managing and operating the mobile application/website www.elledecorstore.in (“elledecorstore.in”), through which it inter alia facilitates the sale of bed linen, bath linen, home décor, kitchen linen, table linen, tableware and other products (“Products”) to the users of the elledecorstore.in (“User” or “you” or “your”).

1.2 This delivery and shipping policy (“Policy”), together with the Terms sets out our policies and procedures towards delivery and shipping of Products purchased on the elledecorstore.in.

1.3 We provide shipping and delivery of our Products all over India. We aim to provide the best customer experience for you by tying-up and partnering with leading logistics service providers to handle your order in the best possible way and to ensure that you have a hassle-free experience in receiving the Product that you have ordered from the elledecorstore.in. We make all commercially reasonable endeavors to ensure that the Products are delivered to you in a timely fashion.

1.4 By agreeing to use the elledecorstore.in and/ or purchasing a Product on the elledecorstore.in, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy without modification. We encourage you to read and understand the terms of this Policy every time you visit the elledecorstore.in. If you do not agree to the terms contained in this Policy, you are advised not to use, access or transact on the elledecorstore.in.

2. TERMS OF SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

2.1 We partner with third party logistic service providers in order to effectuate Product shipping and delivery to you (“Logistic Partner”). We shall provide the details of the Logistic Partner which will be responsible for processing the shipping and delivery of any Product(s) purchased by you on the elledecorstore.in at the time such Product is processed and successfully handed over to the Logistic Partner by us. Our standard dispatch timelines range from 5-7 (five to seven) days from the date of order of the Product by you on the elledecorstore.in. In any case the user will be provided with an estimated timeline for the delivery of the Product purchased from the elledecorstore.in. This estimated timeline shall be notified to the user on the order confirmation page displayed at the time the order is confirmed by us. We will also share details about your orders pursuant to their dispatch on the e-mail ID and/or mobile number provided by you/ registered with us. You agree and understand that though we effectuate Product delivery to the Users through our Logistic Partners, we reserve the right to ship and deliver the Products on our own without engaging any Logistic Partners or third party service providers.

2.2. You agree and understand that though we endeavor to ship and deliver our Products all across India, we may, in our sole discretion, determine a select list of areas which are unserviceable for delivery of Products. We or our Logistic Partners do not provide shipping and delivery services in such unserviceable areas and may not process your orders on the elledecorstore.in in such cases. In the event an area has been deemed unserviceable by us, we shall notify such user at the time of placing an order for purchase of Products on the elledecorstore.in. You may also verify whether an area is unserviceable for deliveries by us by entering the relevant area pin-code on the elledecorstore.in.

2.3. You agree and acknowledge that to effectuate timely delivery of the purchased Products to you we may inquire or collect specific information like your name, shipping address, billing address, landmarks, contact details, etc. You shall ensure that all information that is submitted by you to us on the elledecorstore.in is true, complete, accurate and sufficient to identify the actual place of delivery. You understand that you shall bear absolute liability in case of any failure by us in delivering the purchased Products due to your failure to provide correct, complete, sufficient and accurate information at the time of placing the order. It is further clarified that we shall not be liable in any manner and at any point in time due to your failure to provide correct and complete information.

2.4. We will attempt to deliver the purchased Product to your designated address within the estimated timeline of delivery notified to you. In the event you are not available or present to accept the delivery of the Product, our Logistic Partners will make a maximum of 2 (two) attempts to deliver the purchased Product(s) to you. If the second delivery attempt is unsuccessful and you continue to remain unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel the order of the purchased Products at our sole discretion and process the return of such Product to us. We further reserve the right to deduct the shipping and delivery charges (if )borne by us while processing any refunds subsequent to such cancellation.

2.5 While we make reasonable endeavors in ensuring that purchased Products are delivered to you in a timely manner and within the timeline notified to you, you accept and acknowledge that the delivery may be delayed on account of:

(a) Logistical issues beyond our control;

(b) Unsuitable weather conditions;

(c) Political disruptions, strikes, employee-lockouts, etc.;

(d) Acts of God such as floods, earthquakes, etc.;

(e) Other unforeseeable circumstances.

In such events of delay, we shall make reasonable attempts to inform you by writing to your email ID and/or mobile number registered with us. We disclaim all liabilities that may arise on account of our failure to inform or notify you of delays in the delivery of purchased Products on the elledecorstore.in. Further, we shall be under no obligation to compensate you for any claim that may otherwise arise on account of delay in the shipment or delivery or use of

the purchased Products.

2.6. We endeavor to engage Logistic Partners, employees, agents with the highest regard for ethics and integrity; and behave in a fashion that exudes thorough professionalism, competence and good mannerism. You agree and acknowledge that the actions, inactions of delivery individuals are not in our control, and it is not possible for us to monitor and observe each delivery executive. Since we are merely facilitating delivery of a Product purchased by

you, we shall not be liable for any acts or omissions on part of our delivery agents, employees, or personnel and/ or the Logistic Partner or their employees, agents, or personnel including deficiency in service, wrong delivery of Product, time taken to deliver the Product, Product package tampering, etc. For the sake of abundant clarity, it is stated that any ill-mannerism, impoliteness, discourtesy or offensiveness shown by our delivery executives or the employees, agents, personnel of the Logistic Partners is beyond our control and any issue arising between you and our delivery executive or an employee, agent, personnel of the Logistic Partner will have to be resolved by the you, independently. You agree and acknowledge that you will not hold us responsible or require us to settle, mediate or resolve any disputes between you and the delivery personnel delivering the Products to you.

2.7. Once you place an order on the elledecorstore.in, we process such order and hand over the purchased Product to our Logistic Partner. The User will receive a unique tracking identity number once the purchased Product is handed over to the Logistics Partner, which will enable the User in tracking the status of delivery of the purchased Products. The User may use the tracking identity number on the elledecorstore.in and/or the mobile application of the Logistic Partner to check the status and location of the purchased Product and its estimated time

of delivery. Our customer service team coordinates with the Logistic Partners to ensure that the Products are delivered to you at the earliest and make all reasonable efforts in ensuring that the Logistic Partners update the tracking status of the purchased Products on a real time basis. It is clarified that we engage third party service providers to effectuate deliveries of the Products and hence, we do not guarantee the accuracy or correctness of the tracking status and the status may be subject to inconsistencies arising out of time-lags in updating the

information and/ or other technical difficulties which are not in our control.

2.8. We shall not charge the shipping and delivery fees for any order,

2.9 Return of purchased Products are facilitated through our reverse-Logistics Partners. On receipt of request for return of Product on the elledecorstore.in and the same being duly acknowledged by us, our reverse-Logistics Partners shall get in touch with you in order to collect the purchased Products from you. We process returns and exchanges of purchased Products in accordance with our Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

REASONS FOR RETURN

The return policy is to help distinguish between a non-returnable and a returnable item(s). 

If you receive a wrong, defective, or damaged product, you can simply initiate a return request on Elledecorstore.in for items that are eligible for returns.

CONDITIONS FOR RETURN

To initiate the return process for any product purchased from the Elledecorstore.in website, customers must adhere to the following specified conditions:

  1. Item(s) must be returned in their original packaging, unused, complete with brand boxes and protective coverings. This includes the original price tags, labels, barcodes, invoices, accessories, freebies, and any original boxes that are considered essential.
  2. Products lacking essential components will not be accepted for return and will be returned to you. If the same is validated by the logistics partner at your doorstep and if he finds the essentials missing, he will refuse to pick up the product as there are mandatory details to be shipped along with the product. Elledecorstore.in reserves the right to reject any such returns in the absence of an incomplete product handed over during the return journey.
  3. Return packages must be securely and properly packaged to prevent any damage to the products during the return journey.
  4. Elledecorstore.in will conduct verification and quality assessments on returned products to ascertain the validity of the complaint or return.
  5. If you have chosen the pick-up from a partner store as your preferred option for delivery of the order and wish to return the product, you should return the product to the same store from where you collected the order. The store reserves the right to conduct necessary quality checks and verifications and approve the return before accepting the product.
  6. The return has to be in compliance with this Elledecorstore.in Returns Policy. The return policy where applicable is made available on the Product page.

NON-RETURNABLE PRODUCTS

In the event that a damaged or defective product is received, or if the product is significantly different from what was purchased, or if the package delivered is missing one or more products or accessories, Elledecorstore.in should be notified within the timeframe specified on the product page.

Return eligibility doesn't apply to all products. There are certain items that cannot be returned, including:

  1. Products that have been used, washed, cleaned, or altered by you.
  2. Products with serial numbers that have been tampered with or are missing.
  3. Personalized, engraved, or resized products. 
  4. Items sold as sets or combinations, which cannot be returned individually. 
  5. Any other product, subject to the prevailing Return Policy.

CATEGORY WISE RETURN POLICY:

The return must align with the relevant Return Policy linked to the specific product category, as outlined below. Nevertheless, the returns policy specified on the product page takes precedence over the general returns policy.

Product Category: Bath, Bed, Décor, Kitchen, Living, Tableware

RETURN POLICY:

You can cancel an order as long as Elledecorstore.in has not yet begun processing it. Products can be returned within a 7-day period, under the condition that the returned item remains unused, unwashed, undamaged, and all labels and tags are fully intact in the original packaging as initially delivered.

RETURN WINDOW 

Failure to notify Elledecorstore.in of the following scenarios will result in:

  1. Receipt of a damaged or defective product.
  2. Discrepancy between the received product and your order specifications.
  3. Delivery of a package with missing products or accessories, as outlined by the returns policy and procedure.

Elledecorstore.in holds no obligation to accept the returned product or assume liability in such cases. Should such a product be returned, it may be sent back to the customer. Elledecorstore.in cannot be held responsible if the product is not accepted and no refund is issued.

Returns for products that are damaged, defective, or otherwise eligible for return are accepted as follows:

If you intend to return a product that qualifies under the Returns Policy, please contact the Elledecorstore.in Customer Care Team via phone at +91-8130421444 or through email at care@montblancvc.com.

Upon receipt of your return request, the Elledecorstore.in Customer Care team will authenticate and assess the nature of the request. You might be asked to submit supporting images or videos for verification purposes. If the request aligns with the Returns Policy and is deemed valid, a refund will be initiated upon receipt of the product and subsequent quality inspection conducted by Elledecorstore.in.

Please allow a minimum of 5-7 business days for your product return request to be processed.

Elledecorstore.in may organize a product pick-up with a designated logistics service provider. You will receive an email or SMS notification on your registered email address or mobile number.

You explicitly acknowledge that Elledecorstore.in bears sole responsibility for damaged or defective products, items not meeting the original order specifications, delivery delays, and packages missing one or more products or accessories. This includes any claims you may have regarding such products.

CANCELLATION OF RETURN REQUEST

Once a return request has been initiated, you can cancel it by accessing the "My Orders" section on the website or by getting in touch with Elledecorstore.in Customer Care.

Here's the procedure for canceling your return request: You can locate your orders within the "My Orders" section within your account.

After selecting the product, just click on the "cancel" button and provide the reason for your cancellation. 

If the Logistics Service provider arrives to collect the shipment and you decide to cancel the return request, you can inform the logistics service provider of your decision not to proceed with the return. An email or SMS notification will be sent to the email address or mobile number you provided to Elledecorstore.in, confirming the cancellation of your return request.

REFUSAL OF RETURN REQUEST

Elledecorstore.in retains the right to decline or annul any return request. If a return request doesn't conform to the Returns Policy, the product's purchase amount won't be refunded, and you won't be able to initiate another return request for the same item. By agreeing to these terms, you commit not to contest Elledecorstore.in's decision and acknowledge their determination in regard to refusals or cancellations. You also agree not to hold Elledecorstore.in accountable for any such refusal or cancellation.

FRIVOLOUS AND FRAUDULENT COMPLAINTS


If there are complaints or requests that are deemed frivolous, baseless, or involve questionable claims about product quality or content, or if there's a fraudulent attempt to return a product that is different, counterfeit, or not genuine, Elledecorstore.in reserves the right to initiate necessary legal actions against you. In such cases, you will be solely responsible for all expenses incurred by Elledecorstore.in. 

Elledecorstore.in will not be obligated to re-ship a rejected fraudulent return, whether it's due to the wrong item, a different item, or a counterfeit item, unless you agree to cover the re-shipping charges upon request and notification of the same.

RETURN SHIPPING PROCESS

Damaged items: 

For claims related to damaged products, Elledecorstore.in might request photographs of the damaged item prior to granting approval for the return.

Returns managed by Elledecorstore.in:

When Elledecorstore.in manages the return shipping, you should present the product to the designated logistics service provider during the scheduled pick-up. If the logistics provider tries to collect the product but you are not present or prepared to hand over the item, neither Elledecorstore.in nor the logistics service provider will bear responsibility for any delays in pick-up or the subsequent quality check carried out by the seller, which could affect the refund process. The logistics service provider will make a maximum of two attempts to collect the product for return.

Return of Incorrect product:

Elledecorstore.in cannot be held responsible for products returned in error. If a product that doesn't belong to the Elledecorstore.in inventory on elledecorstore.in is mistakenly returned, Elledecorstore.in will not assume responsibility for this misplacement. Consequently, Elledecorstore.in will not be accountable for the item's return delivery, any associated costs, or any refunds in connection with this matter.

Discrepancy between you and our logistics service provider:

If there's a discrepancy in the recorded status of a product pick-up arranged by Elledecorstore.in (where you assert that the product has been returned, while our records suggest otherwise), a refund will only be initiated if you are able to provide the courier slip furnished by the logistics service provider designated by Elledecorstore.in at the time of pick-up.

In instances where a designated return location raises concerns about the received product differing from your description or not adhering to the Returns Policy, the product will be sent back to your shipping address. It's your responsibility to receive and acknowledge the package. In the event of a dispute, Elledecorstore.in will strive to find a mutually agreeable resolution.

CANCELLATION POLICY

An order can be canceled by either Elledecorstore.in or by you.

Cancellation initiated by us: Elledecorstore.in holds the authority to cancel an order. The following are some of the reasons for cancellation, although this list is not exhaustive:

Non-compliance with any of these Terms: 

  1. Product unavailability from the seller. 
  2. Technical errors or glitches.
  3. Issues flagged by Elledecorstore.in’s credit and fraud prevention department.
  4. Provision of an invalid address in order details.
  5. Employment of unethical practices to place an order.
  6. Placement of bulk orders for commercial resale.
  7. Multiple orders made for the same product at a single address.
  8. Order remains undelivered after three attempts.
  9. Rejection of EMI offer by the bank. 
  10. Inability to collect the order from the partner store within the specified timeframe.

Elledecorstore.in retains the exclusive prerogative to decline or annul any order without stating a specific reason. In such cases of cancellation, you will receive an email or SMS notification at the email address or mobile number you provided to Elledecorstore.in.

CANCELLATION BY YOU

You have the option to cancel an order for any rationale, provided that the cancellation takes place prior to the product being dispatched for delivery to you. Once the product has been shipped, cancellation is not feasible.

Cancellation is applicable to both entire orders and specific parts of orders where multiple products have been requested. This can be accomplished by either contacting the Customer Care Team via phone or email, or by utilizing the "My Orders" section on the Website. You are expected to provide a reason for the cancellation. Elledecorstore.in will manage the cancellation request in accordance with the prevailing policy.

Upon the successful cancellation of an order, a confirmation email or SMS will be sent to the email address or mobile number you provided to Elledecorstore.in.

Elledecorstore.in maintains the prerogative to either accept or decline requests for order cancellations without the obligation to furnish a reason. You consent not to hold Elledecorstore.in accountable for any refusals of order cancellations.

Refunds for the canceled orders that have been approved in alignment with the Refund Policy will be issued to you.

REFUND POLICY 

REFUNDS

Refunds are offered for products that are canceled or returned, contingent upon the fulfillment of eligible cancellation or return criteria as outlined in the Return Policy or these specified terms and conditions. These actions must be initiated in compliance with the Return or Cancellation Policy.

You will receive a refund for the product cost, including applicable taxes and shipping charges, if any, in the event of cancellation or product return. If an order is canceled, lost, or undelivered to your selected location, the entire order amount, including the paid online Shipping fee, will be refunded.

However, in the case of a returned order, the shipping fee will not be reimbursed. For accounts that breach our fair usage policy regarding returns, the shipping fee will not be refunded regardless of the order's value.

Please be aware that Elledecorstore.in initiates refunds once the return pick-up is successfully carried out, or after the returned item has been received by Elledecorstore.in and has passed the quality check. Therefore, the timing of refund initiation may vary based on the time it takes for the courier partner to deliver the return to Elledecorstore.in.

In the case of receiving a refund while the quality checks are pending, you are required to hold those funds in trust on behalf of Elledecorstore.in until the completion of the quality checks, unless claimed by Elledecorstore.in before that time. If any amounts are erroneously paid or refunded to you, you are obliged to promptly return such sums to Elledecorstore.in within 3 days of your receipt.

Orders placed with Cash on Delivery (COD) options are not eligible for refunds due to non-deliverability. Refunds for returned Cash on Delivery orders may be subject to a charge, which will be deducted from your refund amount.

Elledecorstore.in reserves the right to recover any payment gateway charges incurred due to the cancellation of fraudulent orders before processing a refund.

TIME PERIOD FOR REFUNDS 

After Elledecorstore.in initiates the refund as per the Returns Policy, the refund amount is anticipated to appear in the customer's account within the following timeframes:

Online Refund: Anticipate 4 to 6 working days for the refund to manifest after initiation, contingent upon your bank partner. For certain public sector banks, the period could extend to 8–10 working days before the amount is credited to your source account. Interest incurred through the bank offering the EMI Scheme until the return or cancellation request is submitted will not be subject to reimbursement. Elledecorstore.in and Montblanc Ventures are not liable for any mistakes or delays in refund processes stemming from bank or third-party service provider errors or delays.

Mode of refund: 

The mode of refund for payments cannot be modified once initiated, as the refund amount is transferred to your source account. Refunds are directed back to the original payment source.

In cases where a refund for a payment method other than Cash on Delivery cannot be processed back to the source, we will arrange a refund that requires your action to facilitate an instant refund.

To receive this refund, you'll be required to update your bank account number and IFSC code to enable us to process the refund to your account. Refunds cannot be directed to third-party accounts; the name on your Elledecorstore.in account must match the name of the bank account holder specified for refund via NEFT. A confirmation of refund initiation will be communicated to you via email or SMS at the email address or mobile number provided to Elledecorstore.in.
